Have you checked your firing order. If you have a plug wire switched this would easly happen.

Check the air filter box for fuel lying in it then pull the vacuum hose off of the map sensor and see if any fuel runs out of it.If you see fuel in either of these or both of them then replace the fuel pressure regulator.

Losing power when its below half full of gas

Pressure test the fuel system to measure the pressure regulator to ensure correct fuel pressure under all driving conditions. Do the test with a less than 1/2 full tank of fuel.

I have a 2004 Chevy blazer V6. The last few mornings I have had a lot of trouble starting it , almost like it's flooded. You can smell gas. After you get it going it is kind of jerky but after...

Sounds like a faulty fuel pressure regulator.Pull the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator. If fuel runs out of it replace the regulator.

I have a 2006 Pontiac Montana and when I put gas in, It stalls. Then I give it a little gas and it runs. My husband thinks it the starter??????Tune up? Fuel Pump?? Thank you Mrs. C.

Hi Mrs. C
the starter is NOT the problem the starter only cranks the engine has nothing to do once its running
it could need a TUNE UP depending on the mileage
If this was my vehicle i would replace the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure before you spend money on replacing the fuel pump
hope this helps

I have a 97 chevy blazer, had a problem with it starting, finally got it started and it would chug, and bog right down to almost a stall. was told it was the fuel pump, as the one in the vehicle did not...

If it was diagnosed as being fuel related, then it could be the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel pressure valve may be stuck open (sometimes). The gas will drain back to the gas tank and not maintain fuel pressure.
If you had trouble starting it first thing in the morning after sitting overnight, then it should have been diagnosed as the regulator (or valve that it controls).

Check it, but before you change it out, try a bottle of "Complete Fuel System Cleaner" ($8 AutoZone). It may clear it up in a couple of days' use. Oh, use a name brand cleaner, not store brand.

My s10 blazer you have to keep pumping the gas to keep it running if you push it all the way down it will stall changed the plungs and wires thanks for any help you can give

Check the fuel pressure at the shredder valve. There should be 60 to 65psi with the fuel line primed and engine not running, with the engine running there should be a 5psi drop. Any other reading will give you starting or running issues. You can try replacing the fuel filter first which is located on the inside frame rail under the driver's door, but keep in mind that the spider fuel system in your blazer is know to go bad. The fuel pressure regulator is the most common and the fuel pump also is common to go bad with a life expectancy of around 150,000 miles and anything more then that is on borrowed time. Good luck and keep me posted, start with the fuel filter replacement and checking the fuel pressure at the shredder valve. Not do not try to start the blazer by poring fuel in the throttle body, it's been know for the excess fuel to catch fire and burn up the spider injector nozzle in the manifold.

1999 chevy lumina sedan stalling

Regular petroleum gasoline from 87-93 octane will become stale after it has set for as long as you stated without adding a fuel stabilizer before it was out of commision for whatever reason. First, I would have the tank/ fuel system purged/drained of old stagnant fuel, second I would replace the fuel filter, next I would check for adequate fuel pressure at fuel rail, Also as another point to remember certain types of electronic components such as fuel pumps can fail to operate from sitting around and not having a sufficient amount of overall use I just had to recently replace one in my jaguar for this specific reason so it is best to start your vehicle for atleast 20-30 minutes every 3-4 days when not in regular use to keep it functioning properly. Back to your problem, next since your vehicle has had a complete tune up, in which I interpret that to be an oil change, air filter, spark plugs, plug wires, and full engine diagnostic scan and/or full oscilloscope reading I would suggest having a professional fuel treatment cleaning to ensure your injectors are not clogged from any old residue, dirt or other debris. Once that is done fill it up with 93 octane add a bottle of isoheet fuel additive which should dry up small amounts of water or moisture from contaminated fuel sources, cheap gas or moisture accumulated from possibly filing up on rainy days. If your problem is not corrected at this point take it to the dealer for more scrutinous diagnosis and repair. let me know if I can be of further assistance

Getting to much gas to engine in chevy s10 blazer

You have TBI, check the two injectors for a "V" or cone style, spray pattern. There shouldn't be any dripping. Also check the TBI assembly for any leaks. The fuel pressure regulator is mount at the rear part f the TBI. If the diaphram is damaged it could cause exsesive fuel to dump into the engine.
