Yes,, I have a 2007 and it came on.. like you I checked the internet and someone said the problem was a pinched wire or crushed wire from improper installation...I took it in and they told me it was a seat belt sensor that failed.. $245 to change it out.. I bought the part.$111.00 Its the end that the seat belt plugs into.. Its a real pain to disconnect the wire connectors but after building a few special tools I was able to change it out.. sure enough there is a wire that was crushed... really surprises me that GM is not fixing this since if there is an accident the air bag will not go off.. This is an attorneys dream deal.. Stupid on GM's part.. That is my story Elmer
