You could have a universal joint that's binding. Sometimes they'll cause a vibration before they make any noise.

Ticking sounds like a dry lifter, when was the last time you changed the oil and filter? Humming sounds like you need a tire rotation because of uneven tire wear.

I just installed a set of the new Michelin Defender tires on my 2007 Impala LT 3.5. I get a vibration that seems ot be coming from the rear tires that I feel thru the driver seat ( if you put you hand

I had the same problem with my new Defenders. Turns out I had a bad batch of tires. Not only had vibration, it caused the car to pull. I had the tires tested for roundness, and three were out of round. Additionally, two of the tires were causing what is known as radial bias pull, which made the car seem like it was out of alignment. Three alignments, four rebalances and rotations later, and with still a lot of of resistance, they replaced all four tires as defective, and the problems ALL went away. You need new tires.

After buying four brand new tires for my 2003 cadillac A strong vibration comes after going 60 70 mph. Why is this?

go back and get the tires rebalanced. If this doesn't help then have the shop rotate them. If the rotation helps them you have a defective tire. And make sure the shop replaces it or else next time you need a rotation you will have this problem again..

I have a '99 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4. It has a bad vibration in the front-end. I've changed all U-joints and have rotated the tires, but it still has a bad vibration. Does anybody have an idea what the...

It sounds like you may have lost a weight on one of the tires that balaces it. If so and if you rotated the tires to the rear and rear to front then the vibration would come from the rear. If you only switched the two front tire with each other it would still be in the front. I would start by having the two front tires re-balanced and see what happens. if this doesn't work then it may be a wheel berring going out on you. Keep me informed, Raz

WHY DOES MY FRONT RIGHT TIRE SIDE VIBRATE ON MY 2004 YUKON

Tire vibration can be caused by a few things. Here's what to check:
1. Check the tire inflation. Make sure it's at the recommended pressure.
2. Have a local tire shop check your tire balance. If a tire is out of balance you'll notice the vibration at speeds above 50mph.
3.Wheel alignment. If the alignment is out, the tire will show uneven wear and can cause vibration also.
4. If a front wheel bearing is going out, it can cause vibration, but since your car is only 5-6 years old, this probably isn't the case.
Hope this helps you narrow it down.
Best of success!
