Question about 2005 Chrysler 300
Computer code "P1521", is set when there is an engine oil condition. Check to see if the recommended old viscosity is being used and if you're following the oil change schedule. The oil could be contaminated or there may be an internal engine condition that may affect oil pressure. All of these conditions can set the code above.
The first thing I would recommend is to change the engine oil using the correct viscosity unless you know that the oil has been changed and it is the correct viscosity. Regardless the dealer or independent shop will have to use a scan tool to check the problem and to reset the light. I hope this will help
