Could be a loose battery cable or a dead short.
Try tightening the battery cables to the battery -- if they are already tight, loosen them, take them off and clean the cable-ends and battery terminals well with baking soda & water. Then reconnect the battery cables using a bit of petroleum jelly as a conductor.
