If it is only blowing on the windshield, that is the default postion. The reason they do this is so you can drive if there is a problem with the HVAC system, at least your windshield should be clear.
If it is only blowing on the windshield, you may have a vacuum leak under the hood. Check the left side under the hood, near the vacuum booster. There are vacuum hoses in that area, make sure one didn't fall off, or is split causing a vcauum leak. Ther emay also be a vacuum tank in the fender right there, that a hose may have come off.

sounds like there is a blockage in the heater ducts or the doors that open & close to direct the air are stuck or broken. maybe a bad blend door actuator

The problem was a vacuum line leak. Replaced the line.

i think the inner fender and right front wheel has to come off there are bolts from under the hood that have to come outgood luck.
