1988 beretta is leaking a large amount of water. It is close to the firewall just under an aluminum air conditioner line. There was a rubber fitting on the line, but I don't see where it is supposed to go...

Water leaking under dash

THE WATER IS CONDENSATION FROM THE AC EVAP. THE DRAIN HOSE TO THE OUTSIDE IS PROBABLY CLOGGED. IT IS USUALLY LOCATED ON THE FIREWALL NEAR THE AC LINES GOING INTO THE INTERIOR AND IS A SHORT ELBOW SHAPED RUBBER HOSE. IT MUST BE CLEANED. TRY USING A SMALL BOTTLE BRUSH THAT IS FLEXIBLE OR SOMETHING SIMILAR

I took my 02 envoy to get checked an the machine said i had a leak in the vaccum pipeline what does it sound like i need to do

The age of your vehicle guarantee's a vacuum leak. It may sound silly but the truth is rubber grommets and hose's shrink and dry out over time and the harsh environment under the hood makes it worse. Check all vacuum lines and fittings attached to the intake manifold, valve covers(pcv valve), and be sure to check for a vacuum fitting on top of the intake just behind the throttle body. Does it fit tight in the hole? You can seal loose fittings with a high-temp RTV (Red) silicone sealant/adhesive. Several small leaks add up and your engine, heat/AC, will be all to glad to tell you about it.

Check the vacuum line under and in front of the throttle body...with engine idling. It is located under where the air filter snorkel attaches to the engine. Then check all vacuum lines at the intake manifold. Check vacuum lines at distribution block on firewall and check the large brake booster vacuum line from one end to the other. You'll find it!

2001 oldsmobile intrigue air conditioner condensation line

The condensation drain line is located on the firewall at the bottom behind the Air box. it looks like a piece of pipe coming out of the firewall turned 90 degrees and crimped on the end. If that isn't clear or is closed completely water will leak to the inside of the vehicle. You can usually use a thin piece of wire to clean it or clear a blockage.

Water on floor passenger side after it rains and after air has been running 2000 grand prix

Ac hose leak?
leaking heater core?

Hint: it leaks when it RAINS

If it were related to the heater core or the AC drain, it would be leaking when it is not raining also, so those diagnoses are not logical.

The grand prix has a long history of floor leaks from seal failures around the air intake under the windshield cowling, where RAIN water runs in.

Air Conditioner leaking into passenger side of 1999 Ford Escort. Need to locate drain line to clean it out...Found leaves and debris in barrel fan... how to keep keep leaves out... THANKS!

The water leaking is caused by the evaporator drain being stopped up. Look under the car in the area of the firewall on the passenger side and try to find the end of a rubber hose the water is supposed to drain from. Clear it out with air pressure.

The leaves will usually work their way in from the fresh air intake below the wipers. Keep it cleared off to prevent them from getting to the fan.
