Question about 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD
My 98 Ram 1500 5.2 L died on me yesterday. No warning. Will not start. I have swapped relays and fuel pump will not run but it DOES run if I bridge it between the relay and ground on the vehicle but engine will still not start. Is this a sign of a bad PCM?
None of my analog gauges (fuel, volts) are sweeping when I turn the key.
Also, I am not sure if this has anything to do with it but my interior lights were "pulsing" at idle the day before.
I do not have an answer straight off for you but will refer you to the attached: email@example.com
Wells Manufacturing maufacturers electrical components, relays and such for all cars. Email your issue to the address, give them all and any info you can and they are pretty sharp at addressing these issues. Again give them any and all inofo up front so they can more easily identify the problem.
I hope this may have assisted,
