I have a 2001 grandam se and have electrical problems with the heating system .Does anyone have the same problem?

When a vehicle is in 3 feet of water, the electrical
is usually damaged to the point that the vehicle
is scrapped
The vehicle is 12 years old or more,so even without
the water in there, it has some wear & you can use google
to check for bulletins of known engine issues,but I don't
think your going to fix that, even without the water issues.
The motor would have to come apart to find the issue & you
may rebuild it & never know

Car will not hold its prime

Assuming you mean fuel pressure, It will be the fuel pump module bad. Its in the tank.

Locason of thermostat on 2.4l 2001 grandam

its on the right side of the engine under the exhaust manifold heat shield.

I have a 2001 Grandam. My gear button kept

Use some "GOO GONE" ... probably the "safest" stuff to use to remove the glue.

Use Q-TIPS to apply and clean-up with a cloth, not paper towel.

Don't use nail polish remover or any acetone products, these will melt the button.

Don't use paint thinner either, for the same reason.
