Question about 1995 Volkswagen Golf
The easiest place to find the VIN on your vehicle is right on the lower left corner of your dashboard. You should be able to read the number by looking through your windshield on the driver's side of your car. Check the driver's side door. The VIN might also belocated in the driver's side doorjamb or on the doorpost. I hope the images given below will be helpful.

The chassis number is at the outside portion of the car chassis where your engines are mounted. This is easily located if your car is lifted up
at the service center. Otherwise, you can jack it up, and crawl lying
up to find it. Or try to find it upright bending down at the outside portion of your car chassis .
