Simply test the battey with a multi-meter and you'll see,, but hope to god that its not a electrical problem its very expensive to fix

Radio works but no sound

There are several amplifiers and boosters in the pillars. Start with that and move on from there. Sounds like something cutting out after it gets to warm. Make sure part no. for the radio is exactly for the one called for by vin.!!!

Audi a4 fuel gauge stuck on passed max

not sure about the model but usually the gas tank or fuel filter has a float on it that is probably ur problem u would have to drop the tank to find out lot of trouble for a little fix or it could be the gauge itself like a bad connection

TRY THIS IT MAY OR MAY NOT HELP.PUT KEY IN THE IGNITION SWITCH TURN IT TO ON POSITION WITH THE ENGINE OFF.LEAVE KEY ON POSITION THE IMMOBILIZER WARNING LAMP ILLUMINATES FLASHES.IF WARNING LAMP TURNS OFF IN 30 SECONDS TRY CRANKING CAR.SEE IF IT RUNS WITH OUT CUTTING OFF IF SO.THE AUDI DEALERSHIP HAS TO REPROGRAM THE NEW IGNITION KEY. WHILE THE KEY IN THE IGNITION SWITCH IN THE ON POSITION AND THE WARNING LAMP DONT STOP BLINKING THE DEALERSHIP HAS TO REPROGRAM KEY TO THE IGNITION SWITCH AND IMMOBILIZER.

Audi A4 key will not come out after turning engine off

I had this as well, but you just have to wait a second. You can't remove it to quickly, the car takes a second to essentially unlatch the key.

Car will turn over but not start.97 audi a4 1.8

It sounds like you don't have quite enough juice to start it. Sometimes vehicles will turn over but won't start when battery is low. Have someone jump you with jumper cables and I bet it will start then have your battery tested. If it won't start try giving it a shot of starter fluid as well as jump starting it and this will probably do the trick. If not you will have to have it diagnosed professionally. Good Luck

more than likely it is the ignition switch audi actually has an open recall campaign for the faulty ignition switch due to a spring inside the switch stretching causing the key to fail to return to the proper run position. i just did mine yesterday.
