Go to auto zone have them check your battery and alternater, check battery terminals make sure they are clean and tight. For the power steering check belt and check fluid level.

hi Jo,the power steering is powered by the fanbelt and if its slipping will cause it to go heavy but a light would come up on the dash to tell you the alternator was not charging.so if not the belt,it could be the electrics for the pwr steering need looking into, this is easier to get on the dealers diagnostic computer which will show up the exact fault.and would save any guesswork.

Hi!

The ( EPS) is the Electronic Power Steering and its controlled by electronic and it has no relation with the battery and all I can say is that its a complicated system and expansive to repair sometimes. and I might say you should contact the Renault dealer and let them do a diagnostic on it. Good luck

Where will I find the OBD connector on a Camry Altise ACV40R vehicle?

should be under the dash somewhere near the steering wheel or the hood release generally left side of the steering wheel all the way down. just where plastic for dashbord ends.

My SAAB 9-5 2.3 Automatic (V Reg) cuts out at low speed

Take a look at the accessories belt.... does the battery and/or check engine light's on? This belt activates water pump (check temperature gage...), power steering pump (heavy steering...), a/c compressor (a/c working?) and alternator (battery recharging)... of course!

Hope it will help you, even if my english isn't terrible...
