Question about 2007 Ford Mustang GT California Special Convertible
I just had this problem today on a 2008 Mustang. They would go up with the top open but not with the top down. The installer had no idea what was wrong so I googled it and found this thread. Noone had the answer. We thought it might be a sensor but Ford dealership said there were none on the windows so it had to be an obstruction. The installer started to look again and found that he had attached a Velcro strap on the wrong side of the strut arm in the back corners of the roof. It apparently blocked the window. Hope this helps the next person.
