Question about 2001 Ford F350 Super Duty SuperCab
Was wondering if a fuse needed to be added to makes the interior lights in my trailer worked while plugged into my f 350. all the outer trailers lights and signals work but not the interior lights. The interior lights do work when plugged into the f 150
On some of the vehicles, the ignition switch must be on to power the 12 volt lights. Try that first. I assume that you are using a 7 pin connector, otherwise the running lights can feed power to the interior lights. You can bypass this by running an inline fused wire from the battery to the wiring, but you must disconnect the switched wiring and secure it. You don't want feedback into the wiring harness. Also try http://www.etrailer.com/faq-wiring.aspx. They have a great website with lots of info.
