Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Locate your DVD player’s manual Eject button. It is usually a small hole located underneath the DVD drawer.

Use a stiff wire, a paper clip or safety pin—into the hole. Push gently and the drawer should open partway. Gently pull the drawer the rest of the way open and remove the CD.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Rylee

2001 windstar annoying problems with auto locks

Does this happen all the time or only if weather is hot or damp? You need to open your sliding doors, disconnect your negative battery terminal, there will be 5 prongs on your sliding doors and 5 contacts on your door jamb. They are made of copper and you need to sand them down little with fine grit sandpaper possible 120 grit. Close the doors connect your battery terminal back on and make sure it is corrosion free. Check the operation after and see if the problem is solved?

2001 ford windstar sliding door wont shut

I have found that Windstar sliding doors are subject to amnesia. If they are not opened and closed regularly, they "forget" what they are supposed to do. I make it a point to use my fob regularly to open and close the door (one in my case) to keep it focused on the job at hand

6 disc changer will not eject cds==

I had the same problem for months. I checked the owners manual, checked the fuse box, everything I could think of. Then, today, I did some online research and someone said one of the CD's is probably just jammed or slipped out a bit. The suggestion was to gently slide a credit card over the disk (through the door/slot, which in my case was partially open). I just tried it. The door closed and the message said "initializing". It worked! The CD player is back to normal.

When i push the eject button for my 6 disc changer it will not come out?

Remove the radio. You can do this by going to an auto parts store and buying the special tool.It should cost you maby 5 bucks. It will look like a "U". Once you have the radio out there will be 2 torx fasterns on the top or botto of the radio. Open it up and carefully fish out the cds. good luck

CD player (6 disc changer) "locked up"

Take it to the dealership, your G35 should have a 4 year bumper to bumper on it. They'll replace the radio under warranty most likely.

Cd changer wont work

First make sure you have not burned out a fuse, or the changer has not locked itself out. Are you sure the whole system is working at all? Some factory car audio equipment refuses to work after it has lost power, to foil thieves, and wants a code before it will work again. Read your manual and call the Ford dealer and ask about that.

If it is truly dead, you have two choices. Replace the stock unit or upgrade to something really nice (www.crutchfield.com)

The stock audio equipment is not very good and dies young. It's a source of extra profit for the car manufacturer. They install a low-end component with "Ford" written on it, and charge a hefty price for it in a new car. All the car companies do it.

If you go to the dealership and buy a new one, you will spend many $$ to get an equally poor quality replacement, but it will slide right in there with no work at all and you will be back in business.

You can also find a used one from a auto parts recycler, much cheaper than a brand new unit.

2004 Honda CRV 6CD player

I had a similar problem with one of my home made CDs in my 6 disc changer. When I got the error sign, I was able to see the edge of the disc sitting in the slot, but it wasn't ejecting.
One my first try, I tried to use two toothpicks (the flat type) sandwiched together to prevent marring the disc when pulling it out.
Didn't work, so I used long needle nosed pliers, wrapped some tissue around the ends and was able to grip and remove the disc.
I had a similar problem with home made CD's in my Ford Freestar/Windstar vans and was able to pluck them out the same way.
Good luck.
