I have a 1995 Mercedes c220 air works in summer but no heat in the winter. Climate control seems to work fine. Has been reset but do not no the proper code to reprogram. Also runs fine in park and neutral...

no heat problem could be faulty heat control valve or plugged heater core.engine dies could have restricted fuel filter.replace spark plugs and wires see what happens.

C220 diesel

You will need to replace the air temp control blend door actuator motor, it is located behind the dash near the heater core and AC evaporator core inside the air ducting system, the dash must be removed in most cars to replace this part or service the blend door which may be warped and jammed.
