If the alternator is new and if it is still not working or charging the you'll have to check the battery .the owner of the car should be able to check the battery and cables.prepare the equipment or tools in checking the battery: the hydrometer ,cell tester, voltmeter and multimeter. So that when the battery and cable are checked, instrument should be used correctly.Use hydrometer ,Use cell tester ,Use voltmeter ,Use multi tester, check the battery and cables.use or observe safety rules. But if you the owner of the car don't have time to fix the problem of the car then I advice that you go to a car mechanic and they will do the fixing of the problem which is the battery

Jeep 2005 TJ after battery is charged starts fine but drains within minutes while running .I had my alternate swapped with brand new and still acted same. What is telling Alternator not too produce?

possible faulty regulator or wiring from the alternator
for the battery to be draining noticeably when running one battery lead would be very hot to the touch and it would not start an engine so I suspect that you are forming that opinion from the gauges not showing a charge
that indicates that the alternator is not charging because of broken wires from the alternator or a problem regulator
I would take the vehicle to an accredited auto electrician so that all aspects of the charge system can be checked

My 97 ElDorado losses amperege when in norml operating temp. charges fine when cold

I suppose the belt could be slipping when it is warmed up.
Have you checked the output of the alternator to make sure there are no weak connections between the alternator and the battery ?

Have 97 acura won't stay charge changed battery

the battery wont stay charged? if youre putting in a fully charged battery and your car runs, but then the battery slowly dies, the problem will be your alternator. the alternator is what maintains a car batteries charge. try replacing the alternator. hope this helps.

My jeep keeps dying, has trouble starting

First check to see of your battery terminals are corroded. If so, unhook them and clean them with a wire brush until they look brand new. Charge the battery up and if its still reacting, get to a local autozone as they will wheel put a cart to your car and check your battery and alternator for free. Most likely one or the other. Replace as needed.

u need the alternator retested, it is also possible your battery has a dead cell... if you have access to an ammeter, check the draw on the ground side... if it is less that an amp or so, the problem lies in the alt. or batt.

New alternator (actually 2 new) no charge

Find a friend with a heated garage that you can use first off, then locate the short that may be causing all this. Unless you have a bad battery? If its more than 3 years old, replace it. Batterys are cheap. WALMART has em under 89 bucks for most vehicles.
