My 2005 maserati quatroporte driver side window wont close

Is there a trunk release cable in the Maserati Quatroporte 2017

New switch for the passenger side. The drivers side switch may be wired through the passengers side switch witch will make it not work if the passengers side switch is bad. Just a thought. Hope this helps.

Sounds like the window regulator broke (the mechanism that moves your window up and down). It has cable to do the lifting the window up and pulling the window down. These cables do break.

There's a key hole abover the license plate. To the right of the license plate light. Just use your normal car key.

connect battery charger or jumper cables to rod under the hood located in the fuse box.

just renew the mechanism the cable has broke and it comes in one unit

im sure you could find a battery that would work fine with the car. however i would not suggest deviating from maserati's batteries. some high end cars can be extremely sensitive to voltage and if you were to get a battery that was slightly off of spec it could fry your computer. (unlikely but possible) and thats going beyond the point of expensive to fix. i would spring for the dealer battery.

replace the switch. They have parts made of plastic pressing on the contacts softing these babies up making them useless in a few years

Your widow motor regulator which is cable driven has broke. That is why your window motor still works.This is somewhat common on these vehicles.:)
