9 time out of 10 you have a 'purge control solenoid valve' which is stuck in the 'OPEN' position. Replace it and the problem should go away. Hope this helps.. If not, let me know and I'll do further research (provided you provide me with more diagnostic information).

I can tell you that the problem is most likely the in-tank fuel pump. It is very common to get vehicles towed in that won't start after having had fuel put in them. The cause is an in-tank pump that has begun to get worn. After driving the pump gets warm, when cold fuel is put in the tank the pump housing shrinks causing the pump to bind and not operate. Sometimes after sitting the pump will operate again or pounding on the bottom of the tank with a rubber mallet will free it up. Either way the pump needs replaced. Your local parts store should carry a pressure gauge for the fuel system that you can rent or buy to verify my diagnosis. Most efi systems should have between 30-60 psi when cranking the engine

Very slow filling gas tank 32 min to fill up

You obviously don't spend 32 min filling your tank,
there are other customer to take care of

You have a bad Evap System Vent Solenoid
causing the fuel tank to not vent & thus not
able to fill the tank

Car won;t start after fillig up the gas task

It might be your fuel pump, if you turn your key to the setting right before your car turns on and you hear nothing, it maybe your fuel pump, if you do hear a buzz then try replacing your fuel filter before it strains your fuel pump

2004 hyundai accent. trouble filling gas tank

I have a 2005 Hyundai Accent, It is not possible to fill the tank if you are letting the petrol pump run at full speed.Trying to fill up quickly it will only build up pressure and cut off. Next time you fill up just pull the petrol pump handle half way, it will take longer to fill but you wont get the blow back. Modern petrol pumps are getting quicker all the time.Hope this helps you.

Fill up with gas

i had the same problem, you have to change the perge control valve, its on the back of the engine below where the plastic intake pipe meets the metal intake manifold on the back side of the engine between the engine block and the firewall, on the underside of your car hood you will see a vacume system diagram, it will illistrate where the valve is, it should cost about 30 bucks or so at a hyundai dealership
