Try to disconnect the battery again, the negative post for about 30 second and put the post back on and input the code again. if you don't have correct code, take you registration up to the Mits dealer and they can get you the correct code using the vin number.

Car wont starte

Take the battery and have it load tested. Most places that sell car batteries can do this for you. The battery may not have the amperage to start the vehicle even though it has the proper voltage.

The battery went dead when we left the lights on. Since then we have to put our radio code in every time we restart and the clock has to be reset. What can I do. Did not have this issue until the battery...

Have your battery tested. Have you had to jump start it each time? Whenever battery voltage goes low, it will require you to re enter that code. It could be that you have a weak battery, and during start up the voltage is going low enough to cut off keep alive memory in to your sound system. Again have the battery tested with a midtronics tester, or with a good quality carbon pile tester. GO TO A REPUTABLE GARAGE. Don't get the free test at auto zone. Those morons cause more harm than good. Most garages, at least around here (Green Bay) will test it for free, just because we might get to sell a battery, and actually make a buck in this crazy business! Good Luck

Radio is asking for a CODE- I have the number for the code but when i put the number in, nothing happens.

are you entering code correctly, also after 3 trys the radio locks you out, you now need to leave radio on for one hour before trying to enter the code or else it will not accept it,may need battery charger so battery doesnt go dead during the hour, hope this helps.

Check your paper work for an Area Frequency Code and 4 digit security code.

If your radio says "COdE" use the "preset buttons" as "numbers" and put the security code in, one number at a time. If it is the right number it will flash 3 times. If not try again.

Your alternator is dead/dying. Nissan puts both of those lights on to tell you that the alternator isn't charging your battery.

My battery went dead. It was 5 yrs old it was time to change it. It also went dead. Bought a new altenator and installed it. OK now. Had a problem with the engine with the engine cutting out on the highway. Put some injettor cleaner in the tank and it took about 2-3 days and it`s fine now.
