Please Help. I have a 2002 Altima. It wont heat at idle and not warm at all. Yesturday I flushed radiator, changed oil, replaced radiator cap. I read into it and saw this was a common problem and followed all steps and flush air bubbles out etc. It worked fine and hott after the radiator flush but this morning, started doing the same thing. Anything?

It is possible you may still have air bubbles in the system, try re bleeding, check heater hoses for temp where they enter and exit the heater core in the engine compartment, see if one side is hot and the other side is cool, if it is hot on one side only you may have a sludged up heater core that needs to be back flushed or repaired / replaced...

My car is altima is heating when drove more thane 100 k/h.Please could help me?

Hello, have you done a maintenance on the cooling system, radiator flush, thermostat replacement, hoses, water pump etc? Also, has anyone taken off the radiator shroud? believe it or not, the shroud plays a big roll in the cooling of the engine.

If its not the cooling system

Is there any oil in the radiator fluid, or water in the oil, the oil will almost look like coffee creamer. check for white/blue smoke coming from the tail pipe, if you can do a pressure test in the cylinders, it may be the head gasket then.

2002 monte carlo overheating

Better make sure the fan works. There is a switch on the radiator that turns the fan on when it gets to a certain temperature. It could be the fan or the switch. Your thermostat is not your cap, it's in a different location. (Usually at the engine end of the upper radiator hose) Get the leak check! A good garage can pressure test the system to see what leaks you might have.
