How to change front motor mount on a 2005 dodge neon

The mount is located under the engine, to replace it you must raise the car up as high as poss and support it with safety stands (a must!) and then unbolt the two engine mounts located about midway along the oil pan and bolted to the engine block, then you must carefully raise the engine off the mounts (do not damage the oil pan) and slide out the old mount and the new one in. You will need allot of tools to get this done, so unless you have all the needed tools don't attempt it.

Where are the motor mount located

There are 2 of them, one on each side of the motor. They are located at the base of the motor about center and connect to the front cross member. If you have a sideways mounted 4 cylinder you may have 3 motor mounts, this is common with some Dodge vehicle, They are located 2, upper and lower, on the passenger side of the motor and one actually on the transmission side that connects to the transmission.

I have a 1999 Buick Park Avenue Ultra, the super charger belt needs to be changed along with the seized pulley located behind the motor mount. The mount is located above the crank shaft, attached to the...

I do have a question for you, if you remove the motor mount, can you change the pulley? If this is possible, you will need some jack stands, pieces of 2 by 4's and a hydraulic bottle jack. loosen the motor mount nuts and bolts( don't remove yet), with the bottle jack and a board, lift up the side of the engine(just enough to take pressure off the mount. now remove the mount. lift just a touch more, and set up the jack stands with boards on them(to support, and not damage the engine. also safety first). now lower the engine to the boards replace the pulley, and now go up with the engine, and replace the mount. I've done this on Toyota's,and think this may work for you also. hope this helps

Motor mount bracket attached to engine looks like a spacer broke and cant find a name or replacement

The motor mount really has no specific name other than motor mount. Its the location of the mount that determines the part that you need. Just call and parts store and tell them the location of the mount and they will usually be able to match something up for you.

Cant find where the motor mounts are located at and how many are there

Motor mounts are located at bottom of the block. They are bolted to the block and to the frame/chasis -- you'll have to get under the vehicle to see them. There are usually two motor mounts.

Motor mount

Front mount is is under crank--rear is under where fly wheel used to be--if I remember right, the bolts are horizontal to the crossmember.
