Why would the shake follow the wheel/tire where ever I move it to?

Hi, I think you referred this a couple of weeks ago?
I suggested you change the tyre to another rim. You appear to have done that and it has not worked, Can I ask whether the damage to the rim was caused with that particular tyre on it? If it suffered a sever impact damage it is entirely possible that the integrity of the tyre has been compromised. The vibration may be due to internal/invisible damage.
You have eliminated all other possibilities, this, as sherlock holmes would have said, must be the fact.
Well done!
Replace the tyre

I have a 2007 mini cooper. Tyre pressure warning came on a while back and I was able to reset successfully. Same thing happened again 2 days ago. Checked all tyrea, pressures are correct. Tried reset, not...

Get the pressure sensors checked. Does it show you which tyre? If so you could swop it with 1 from a tyre which doesn't show a fault and see if the issue moves with it. If it doesn't move, then is coud be a cabling issue, caught white, short or similar.

Please check your tyres.
if it is due to the tyres put the front tyres to the rear part.check if the noise moves to the rear.did you just replace the tyres?
there are brands offering cheap tyres which make noise .

disconnect the clevis pin and pull it out ,on the end of the cable ,connects cable to gearchange linkage ,then move the lever to neutral with a pair of grips or a tyre lever.Next time get a manual as only old women and pretty boys have a auto.Us macho men from spain wouldnt be seen dead in a old ladys car.

Tyre puncture

if it is an alloy wheel ,it may be stuck around the hub where the wheel is placed.sometime there is rust around the hub thus preventing the wheel from coming out.So you have to slightly kick the wheel tyre from behind hardly and it will come out and if necessary a bit hard. Thanks
