I don't know what the problems you have, but the most common problems is weak battery in the remote will cause your alarm to work properly, I would try to replace the battery first, if that does not work, you would have to take it to the dealer have have them reset the unit and may need re-programing.

I need to switch off my car alarm

Hi
You car is now of an age where by the ni.cads in the alarm have failed an are causing a current drawn when the car is turned off..the alarm sees this current draw as a theft so the alarm sounds.
Either replace alarm siren assy (fitted with new ni.cads) or remove the siren (or just unplug it).

My car alarm comes on randomly and I would like to disable the alarm.

The easiest way to disable the alarm is simply to cut the power wire to the alarm horn. When you have more time, you can try to locate the actual power wire to the alarm, which is usually hidden so thieves can't find it.

My Car Alarm Won't Work By HilaryPost, eHow Contributor updated: October 10, 2010 car-alarm-won_t-work-200x200.jpg Troubleshooting a car alarm problem doesn't have to be hard. Fotolia.com">car keys image by bright from Fotolia.com

Troubleshooting a car alarm is relatively easy. You don't even need any tools or manuals to figure out what's wrong. Though car alarms are meant to protect the safety of your car, they can sometimes provide problems of their own. With these simple steps, you can find out what the issue is and attempt to fix it. Common car alarm issues include: your alarm not working, your alarm going off at inappropriate times and your alarm failing to activate itself. You can solve your car alarm's problems by following these easy troubleshooting steps.
Difficulty: Moderately Easy Instructions

  1. 1

Do a routine check of all your car's systems. Sometimes, other parts of the car are causing the problem. Don't assume it's your car alarm before a thorough check. For instance, if you car will not start, there is probably something wrong with your battery or starter.

  2. 2

Disable your alarm manually. You may have to set the alarm to valet mode while you diagnose the problem. To do this, put the key in the ignition and press down on the push key until the light on the switch stays a solid color.

  3. 3

Check your sensors. Sometimes your car alarm will go off at inappropriate times if your sensor is too sensitive. Just adjust your settings to fix the problem.

  4. 4

Turn off or disconnect any other devices you have in your car. Often, radar detectors, GPS devices and cell phones can interfere with your car alarm system. It's

We have an aftermarket car alarm installed, but have lost the remote. Our battery died and when we jumped it, the alarm reactivated itself and now we can't turn it off! We cannot start the vehicle unless...

I don't think that the alarm can be bypassed once installed. So you'll have to contact the aftermarket car alarm installer that put it in to try to get a new fob that will work with it, or else have it uninstalled by an alarm dealer.

I think the wires need to be traced to deactivate the alarm system, one way or another, because most alarms cut into the ignition or start wiring to prevent the vehicle from running.

Car alarm going off after replace positive cable

If you do not have the remote control for the alarm (which can sometimes be purchased on ebay) You will have to uninstall the alarm.
The alarm is wired between the ignition coil wire coming from the ignition switch if the car is turning over and just wont start.
This can be complicated because of the amount of wiring, You have to cut the alarm wires out 1 at a time and match the cars wires back together.
I just did this for someone on a toyota recently and you really have to pay attention or put a peice of tape on each wire writing the color for example(white wire with rd stripe or white wire with red stripe ect.)
I hope this helps you,

Cant knock alarm unplugged but wont start

hi the thing with most alarms is that they include an imobiliser. it involves cutting part of the fuel/ignition system and running it through the alarm. so when you disconected the alarm you opened the system. a commen mistake. you should have received a key with the alarm and if it is a factory alarm the ignition key should do the trick. what you should do is reconnect the alarm and you should be able to tourn off the alarm with the key. if you don't have a key the only other answer is to have it bypassed by an auto electricion.
