Question about 1989 Toyota Corolla 2 Door
There is no oil pressure or flow even after installing a new oil pump
Its a 2005 model toyota tazz with a 2E engine, after servicing it when we started the car the low oil pressure warning light remained on. We removed the oil filter, sarted the car but there was no oil comming out of the discharge holes.
Checked the pipe from the sump for restrictions - it is clear and the mesh is clean. Bought a new oil pump (YSK make) installed it but still no oil pressure not even flow. Removed the new pump and it was still dry, it seems as if it does not **** up any oil.
Did you prime the new pump properly before installing?
