Question about 2006 Mitsubishi Endeavor
The light is on because the SRS computer detected excessively low voltage, likely right before your battery failed/was replaced.
To clear the light you will need to take it to a dealer or a repair shop with a Mitsubishi-compatible SRS scantool.
This happens so frequently, I never charge customers for clearing SRS lights that are related to battery changes (code will be IG low voltage A and B).

Used a volt meter to check the battery terminal voltage after 5 minutes
of warm up time.
Your alternator should produce 13.8V to 14.2V.
Make sure the positive terminal and the plastic connector on the alternator is clean.
Check belt tensioner worn indicator.
Check belt condition.
Some part store has a portable battery that can check for internal diodes for ripple voltage fault.
Here's a quick check list for most common cost of SRS / Air bag problem. Dirty contacts on driver and passenger seat belt buckles Dirty contacts on seat belt connectors (under seats) Dirty contacts on driver and passenger sides weight sensors (under seat) Seat covers Weight on passenger seat (Example: grocery package trigger SRS / Air Bag light on the way home.) I recommend you to pass an vacuum over the contacts and use CRC electronic parts cleaner to rule out connectivity problem. I DO NOT disconnecting the negative battery connector to clean the code(s) Without the code(s) the dealer will takes "BILLABLE" time to reproduce the problem. ====== Please rate my answer if it is useful to you.
