If the compressor is cycling all the time like its low on freon then just unplug the electrical connector on the compressor itself. if its locked up, you would have to buy a drive belt for the same car that didnt have ac if toyota made and avalon that didnt. and possibly remove the compressor if its in the way

Inner fender well ! But that's not the worst part , The A/C compressor has to come out to get the alternator out .

Why does the ac comp fuse onder hood keep blowing

Possible direct short in compressor clutch. Disconnect wiring harness from compressor and then turn AC on> If fuse doesn't blow, then problem is in compressor/clutch. Suspect it to be seized. If fuse blows while compressor disconnected then problem in wiring.

My compressor smels like its berning

Clutch is bad or compressor is leaking and the oil has dried out...At that point it is probably fried. disconnect the electrical lead to the compressor to it to prevent further damage and possible seizure and ripping of belt. and take it to a mechanic. I assume you are talking about the air conditioning compressor. Just keep in mind you probably won't be able to defog you windows once you disconnect the compressor .

How to disconnect air compressor on dodge 2003 caravan?

You get a belt for that engine without A/C . It will be shorter and you can't leave the compressor on the engine. So keeping dirt out of the hoses is most important.

I have a 96 windstar and when i turn the heat on the a/c compressor starts up. how can i disconnect the compressor or fix the problem?

In some heat settings the A/C compressor will run to remove moisture from the cabin. There is a connector on the a/c compressor if you want to disconnect it.

I need a Diagram on the Serpentine belt for an 2002 Eclipse. I need to know how to bypass the AC compressor.

The compressor cannot be by-passed, but you can disconnect the compressor clutch by disconnecting the two wire connector at the compressor; then the compressor pulley is just an idler.
