Question about 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette
The lights mention above come on and I had a technician from the dealership diagnose. He stated it was the left front speed sensor that was going out. We recently had a lot of rain and he suggested that this may have caused the problem. I have priced the item both with the dealer and online and it is amazing the cost difference! The lights come on and stay on during driving. My only question; Is this something I can replace myself on a nice Saturday or do I let the dealer have part of my child's college fund?
Wiring to this sensor is probably damaged. the wires like to break and the only thing holding it all together is the plastic insulation, tugging the wires at the plug will identify this problem. If wire pulls apart then the plug is no good. replace connector and all should be good
