Question about 1983 Plymouth Gran Fury

1 Answer

How can I install the front shock in a 1965 Plymouth Fury? I have to old one out but the new one is proving very difficult to install. I've tried to wire down the rod in order to make it fit but I can not get it into the tower. Any ideas?

1rst make sure its the right shock you can measure it against the old one if it is the same size you may have to pry down on the lower control arm to get the required clearance that you need hope this helps you.

Installing waterpump reinstaling alternator

Biggest thing here is you have to have the right bolts in the right place. Easiest thing to do is put the bolts in the new pump as you take out the old one. If you have them all mixed up, go to the junkyard and take a look at any older (pre-Magnum) chrysler 318 or 360. Draw a diagram, and you're all set.

Replced sarter relay in my 1965 426 wedge 4speed, engine starts but will not run

got to be the ballast resistor. Small white ceramic block on firewall, used to cut the coil voltage down while running.
While the key is in the start position, the ballast is bypassed,if it dies when you let off the key ,check the ballast.
