2004 Pontiac Grand Am SE dash back lights quit working I installed an aftermarket radio. Wiring OK no blown fuses.Every thing else works fine plugged factory radio back in lights still did not work.

check that dimmer is turned up ---and check connections around where radio work was done for damaged disconnected line connector also check dash fuses not just fuses from radio --or your radio may not be compatible to your dimmer circuit -most oem radios display are Incorporated with dash functions and after market ones are not

Display keeps resetting on 2004 grand prix

sounds like you got a bad wire, when you crank the engine its pulling all voltage away from it and causing the reset, for the proper repair consult the dealer or certified garage as there are many wires and many grounds that can cause you to loose power to other unrelated devices in your car

The radio/clock display light has quit working, it that a major job or does it just nedd a fuse or bulb?

You can check the fuses but if all other dash lights work and radio plays then i would say its time to replace radio, there no bulb to change in radio, this is a digtal display and it went bad,

My car radio says locked I know the code how do I unlock the radio

The code goes in exactly how you would set the clock. If the code is correct the radio will unlock. It should be a 4 digit code.If its the 6 digit that is the code that needs to called into to GM for the 4 digit code.

My digital clock/radio display is faded 2005 Pontiac Grand AM

the most common reason for this is because in side your radio there is tiny little light bulbs behind the main display that have blown..to repair this you need to remove the radio and replace the bulbs .hope this helps!

Can't see anything on the clock/Radio Display

the radio display is lighted by a tiny bulb inside the radio, to change this u must remove the radio from the dash and take off the top sheet metal cover, under that u will see a small twist in bulb socket, replace that little bulb, the bulb is about $2 and avail at any full sevice auto parts store.

Car radio clock

YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE MINIATURE BULB THAT LITES UP THE DISPLAY, YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE THE RADIO FROM THE CAR AND THEN REMOVE THE TOP SHEET METAL COVER ON THE RADIO, YOU WILL SEE THE BULB SOCKET PLUGGED INTO THE BACK OF THE DISPLAY.

Radio in 2001 grand prix works but the light for the clock and radio stations does not display.

The problem is the light bulb behind the screen if you pull the radio out of the dash & pull the radio apart the bulb is right behind the screen with a little work you can get it out, and you can buy it at a pontiac/gm garage. Part # 16208443. Good Luck
