Probably your left temp actuator failed internally. Check the right instrument panel junction block-right side, end of dash-to make sure connectors are fully seated. But thisis usually caused by a faulty temp actuator.

Passenger A/C blowing hot air in a 2004 GMC Sierra SLT.

Usually when one side is hot and the other is cold, and each side is controlled separately, the problem is a blend door not working.
The blend doors are usually controlled by small electric motors.
You might research "blend door" online and see if anything pops up.

I have a cold air leak on the passenger side of my 2004 GMC Sierra 1500. Where is the air coming from and how do I stop it?

Some of these pickups would develop an air leak between the air inlet section of the HVAC box and the cowl or firewall area. This leak would allow cold air to seep into the cab [usually by the passengers feet] in the winter and hot air in the summer. The other rarer cause I've seen is the recirculation door actuator motor sometimes won't hold the recirculation door closed which can also cause a leak. Sorry but I don't have a procedure to fix either of these for you as the ones I saw were still under warranty and went back to the dealers. Hope this helps narrow it down and good luck!

2005 GMC Sierra 1500 - heater blows, but only cold air

Check coolant level. Check for heat at the heater hose going from water pump to heater core at firewall. Check to see that cable is moving coolant control valve from the closed to open position. Low mileage so it shouldn't be plugged heater core.

2004 gmc 1500 heat is only blowing on passenger side. driver side is blowing cold air.

sounds like you have dual zone climate control in your truck. Most likely the actuator that controls the temp door in the HVAC box

you need a servicing of the ac condensor, also check that the blower is working or not. your problem will be solved by servicing the condensor.

2000 gmc sierra 5.3l heater does not get hot

After replacing the thermostat I pulled the heater hoses off and blew air through the heater core at firewall. Can only blow in left side as directional valves will prevent opposite. Chunks of stuff came out with coolant. I then put a piece of hose on the left side and shot water through until it came out clear.
Put it all back together and heat works fine.
