Question about 1989 Ford Ranger
Truck just died in the middle of the road. Put new fuel pump in, but will not work. Fuses good. Get spark. cannot find fuel pump on-off, or reset switch. need truck badly or no work. Folks, any help will be appreciated. thanks!
The inertia switch is in front of the passenger seat, bolted to the fire wall, hidden by the carpet on an 89 and behind the kick panel on the 99. 99 should have a picture that looks like a gas station pump with a line thru it. pull panel off, push big red button. on 89 its the little grey button on the top.
