You have to remove your interior door panel and then remove all of the little 10mm bolts that connect your regulator to your door skin. This will let the window collapse. Just move it around all over the place to gain access through any available holes in the door skin that let you in. There will be 2 bolts that you need to get to to remove the glass from the regulator, then you can wiggle that old regulator out.

We bought a 2010 Merc Mariner, two days later, passenger side window got off track or something, as it wouldn't close though the motor was working. Dealer said two "clips" or something broke that held...

You have to replace the broken window regulator

I doubt the dealer did a thing but took your money

You can't just put the so called clips back on, as they
are part of the regulator & are broken

Stay away from dealers

You never let anyone inside your vehicle doors, to do
window regulators or motor repairs & you never let anyone
fabricate brake tubing, their all butchers, you do thoses jobs
yourself

No repair was ever made at the dealer

Broken window

The Suggested Solutions are provided by the website and may not have anything to do with your issue.
If the window was replaced by a shop, I would take it back and complain. They may have not connected the glass to the regulator, or the motor to the regulator.

Electric Window not working. Need to know how to remove front door panels. Passenger door window completely down, but can hear lift motor running.

Sounds like you have a problem with your window regulator. you need to unbolt the motor from the panel and take window off the regulator. I also have a 99 intrigue and my drivers side window did the same thing. The wire cords on the regulator where frayed and we replaced it. Found a new one of Autopartswarehouse.com for about $42 dollars with the motor.

My driver side window wont go up. When tested no power going to it. But the fuse isnt bad. Anyone have any ideas? When button is pushed down the relay clicks.

The problem will be either the window switch or window regulator motor. With the relay clicking sounds like window regulator. It easiest and and costs only a couple dollars more to get and replace the whole assembly versus just the motor. I hope this is helpful.

99 grand prix gt window regulator?

Noises are deceptive at best.

Until you pull the door panel you really can't be sure what it is.

It could be a rusted rail or the window fell off the rail , or, or,o or..you have one of them look and hunt problems.

Most window issues are easily fixed if you have the slightest mechanical apptitude, it won't be that hard.

I hope this helps you some

Dismount door panel. VW Polo Net

Sounds like it is a broken window regulator. You will need to remove the door panel to fix it. Mine broke and I can actually pull the window up and it will stay until the vibrations of the freeway eventually make it slide back down again (this would be a temporary fix of course). Anyways, there are a couple screws behind the door handle I believe, and then some snaps around the edges, and some clips along the window line. You should get a Bentley's manual so you know exactly how to fix the window regular.

Check to see if the wires to the windows are broke in the rubber hose from the door to the body where the door pivots.

Replacing 99 Accord window regulator

Pull off door panel speaker and switches. lower the window to where you see the two or four 10millimeter that connect scissor mechanism to the window. Prop window all the way up and put a door stopper to prevent the window from falling down. Unbolt window motor, unplug window motor, and unbolt eveything else in the door. Pull it all down and out through the bottom largest whole, lay flat on ground the entire indoor mechanism, out where you can see it on the floor. Take a pic with camera, and proceed to swapping regulator, intallation is same as removal. Good Luck
