Question about 1998 Toyota Sienna

Reattach armrest 2000 sienna

I tried to tighten my armrest (front passenger) because it was flopping past the normal stop point. No good, so I took it all the way off to check the bolt threads. They were fine, but when I tried to replace it I realized that whatever (nut, threaded sleeve, etc.) was in the seatback had dropped down or gone somewhere.
How do I reattach the armrest without destroying the seatback searching for the missing internal connector?
Thanks for your help!

Toyota shows no threaded part for this other than the seat frame itself. Retail price on 8/1/11 for the seat frame: $170, for a tan leather clad armrest: $450. Even the dealer parts guy was blown away.

How to turn off 2000 toyota sienna seat belt light?

Mine and a friend's 2000 Sienna have the same issue. The only way I've found is to cover the light with a sticker. It's not a fix, but it stops the distraction while driving. Good luck, and post back if you find a better way!

I have a 2000 Ford Explorer XLT with the 302 V8. The blower does not work at all in the front dash, however the blower in the center armrest for the rear seat passengers, blows cold and normal. On

Hi, the problem could be the motor, controller, or resistor. You will have to troubleshoot using a volt/ohmmeter. If you have a meter and are willing to troubleshoot, I can send a procedure.

How to replace armrest latch

If you are talking about the center armrest between the two front seats, the repair is easy. The plastic latch can be ordered for about $10 and replaced by taking apart the top lid assembly. I did it and it is not hard at all. Now if you are talking about the armrest compartment, that is one the I have not had any luck figuring out and have not found a solution to from anyone else.
If anyone knows how to reattach the armrest please let me know. My e-mail is pvd3@yahoo.com. Thanks, Pete

One headlight on when bright and one off. the flip flop when normal. If I hold the bright lever to the rear the both stay on. lights alternate once on daytime running

your problem is normal. I see this problem weekly. you need to replace the front electronic module located at the front of the underhood fuse box/relay center. it has four torx screws that have to come off and just pull module forward then plug new one in and tighten the screws. good luck
