Brake switches are located on the brake pedal up the arm some. They have a nut on them and your wire plugs in to the switch. Take the nut off the switch and back it out the hole. When putting it back in make sure that when the your not pushing the brake the button on the switch is all the way out if not adjust how far the switch is in buy the lock down nuts.

I said it backwards when the button is in, brake lights are off when you push the brakes and it opens the switch the brake lights are on. Adjust the switch so when not touching the brakes the button is pushed in.

HOW HARD OF A JOB IS REPLACING CRANK SENSER ON 2004 NISSON SENTRA

on a 4 cyl is very easy, Nissan recommends replacement of both the crank and cam sensor together, but the crank sensor is in the back of the engine, near the transmission bell housing under the engine mount bracket. the cam sensor is in the back of the cylinder head and both have 1 bolt each, 10mm.

I have a 1989 nissan sentra automatic that wont go into reverse but it gos foward fine

Hi there,
if you are driving your vehicle forward and not in reverse this means that your transmission reverse has failed, which can be caused by many things, one being the clutches, they may be burned, and can cause this problem to happen, so you will need to replace the entire transmission, please check a reputable mechanic for repairs.

89 nissan sentra axle going in and out of transmission when i had it up on a lift & engaged. What hold that in?

The axle (called a "Half shaft" in front wheel drive cars) is held in by a internal round Snap Ring, either this snap ring is damaged or the axle is badly worn or the groove the round snap ring expands into is worn and not retaining the axle. Replace the 1/2 shaft first, it the problem persists you will need to replace the transmission side case casting
