Cannot engage 4high on 2009 colorado

Supposed be moving when shifting into 4 low or 4 high, think it's a limit of 4 miles per hour, maybe a bit higher or lower speeds, owner's manual has instructions. Bad shift solenoid or relay? Has fuse/ relay checked out?

F-250 will not go into 4-low, 4-high is ok

Good Evening. 4high is a simple deal to get working. 4low has a few more steps. First of course is starting the truck, shifting down into neutral at a stop then put it in 4low. After doing so then put it down in drive 4low should now be engaged. And to take it back out of 4low simply reverse the operation. Any other questions let me know, becuase if it can do 4high the shifting motor can do 4low.

How do i kick the 4 wheel drive in on my 92 wrangler i kno u have to put the shifter in to 4 weel low or high but it doesnt kick in does anything else have to happen

the hubs on the front wheels have a lock, turn this in the direction indicated by the arrow to lock the hub. When your'e done with 4x4 unlock the hubs again, they may be hot after a harsh or long drive in 4x4 so be aware of this.

What is the speed limit for shifting into 4 high?

Yes you can, it will bogg your engine down alot, but you can shift at 30. If possible to wait until you reach 32 33 it would be a little better, but still possible.

4 wheel drive doesnt work.

Has this Jeep been modified at all?
It sounds like the shifter cable was reinstalled backwards.
Specifically the 4-Low "Not Climbing Well". 4-Low should give you the best torque and hill climbing ability.
Do you feel any "Binding" in the steering wheel (difficult to turn)?
Remember a Jeep uses real driveshafts and differentials to give you 4WD - you cannot engage 4WD or 4-Low on dry hard surfaces. It needs a little bit of slip between the wheels for turns.
Check you're fluids too.

I had my 98 ford explorer in 4wd low and when i was shifting out of 4 x 4 mode there was a huge clunk, then it seems that the transfer case or transmission will not let it go back to automatic drive it is...

98's do not have hubs. Sounds like the transfer case motor did not complete it's job. These motor have problems with brushes sticking if they are not cycled periodically.
