That sounds like you have bad fan switch it reads the temp.of the coolant and sends a signal to the computer to turn on the fan.

I have audi q7 an the fan is on constanly after the car is swithched of an when car is on it over heats I'm so worried I don't know what

Most likely will need a Cooling Fan Control Unit to stop the fan from running. Also you will need to check the fault codes to see if there is an Air Conditioning sensor that is malfunctioning causing the fan to stay on. Sometimes a faulty coolant sensor will cause this issue but you would need to check the fault codes to confirm if there is an issue present.

Mercedes clk55 engine suction fan stays on as soon as the key is turned on.The black and white wire on the fan has continous positive, when I remove relay P in the front fuse box (terminal 15) the fan

The fan control module is defective.....would scan codes in engine control module to insure this diagnosis is accurate. I've replaced quite a few on Mercedes Benz models. The reason for the scan of the engine control module is to insure the DME (engine control module is not commanding "ON" the engine cooling fan. The factory scan tool can view these commands. If the DME is not commanding the suction fan to operate...the fan module is indeed defective.

2001 jeep cherokee has a p1494 code and a p0301 code seems to be running fine but want pass emissions

0301 is cyclinder 1 miss fire, check coil pack and spark plug, plug first,1494 is the fan relay,It's in the right front of the engine compartment. Kind of behind and below the RF headlamp and in front of and below the fuse box.
Easy to replace, just unplug it and plug the new one in.
The relay is the most common cause for that code with a no fan operation condition, we see it all the time.

2003 Audi TT Quatro Coupe. The radiator cooling fan does not work. Vehicle over heats because the fan does not work. Replaced the radiator cooling fan motor and the temperature sensor. The problems is...

The main reason for the over heating of the audi tt is to do with the water pump. The propeller within the first type of water pumps is made of plastic. This was to prevent corrosion, however was never designed to last longer than 5 years. What you need to do is purchase the new style water pump. These new style water pumps have been designed with a metallic propellor which should resolve the overheating. Let us know how you get on.
