You must locate and replace the headlight relay and replace it if you can't find it try ordering a cd repair manual off ebay motors this cd has an electrical component locator on it and is a valuable tool to have for any vehicle you own.

Why are the headlights staying on when ignition is off

Under your hood is a plastic box with relays in it, the headlight relay is stuck. Tap it with something and it will release. Probly should replace the relay. See owners manual or google the headlight relay location. Cheap at an auto store.

The sensor is not in your key. It is in the Key Fob, unless your car is not equipped with keyless entry. If there is no key fob than your car is not equipped with vehicle immobilization.

My '00 Subaru has a separate switch on the steering column for the parking lights, I never use it, but the lights will stay on with the key off. Look for a separate switch. If you find one ask the dealer for your $ back

86 subaru gl wagon not firing.

You might check your ignition switch and wiring...
