Question about Toyota RAV4
You will have to get the light scanned to determine actual problems.Auto-zone can scan it for free.I can speculate for you.If there is a problem with the abs system it will likely turn the traction control system off,once off the 4wd and check engine lights could be associated for one simple code.All of these modules communicate with each other.So the check engine light could come on because the abs system told it to.If you have a throttle position problem,the check engine light would appear,this would prompt the other systems to disable until the problem is corrected.In other words,it is very possible that one triggered all.This of course means the truck isn't going to blow up,but does mean the light needs to be scanned to determine the problem.
Yes, it is safe for you to take to the dealer and scan it for error codes.
