In repair manuals they never state tool size, just looked up part at autozone,it doesnt say what size it is,you can try this, call Autozone, have them look up part and see if they have it and beg them to find what size wrench you need to remove, they can get a wrench and see,it's worth a try,get a female to call.

Where is the oil filter located in a toyota 2004 avalon six cylinder

As you are standing in front of the car with hood open, the oil filter is located directly under the left side of the exhaust manifold and to the right of the alternator. The filter angles upward, so have a drip pan directly under the filter location when you remove and replace with new. Another tip: The filter removal device that works the best is the type that attach to the end of the filter and you turn with a ratchet wrench. You will need a short extension for the ratchet wrench. Longer one will not clear the radiator fan when trying to remove. Wrap around filter wrenches do not allow enough room to clamp on and turn the filter loose. In some cases, you can hand remove them. This is much easier with the Fram design filter that has the rubber in the bottom of the filter housing; easier to grip and turn.

What size socket to remove oil filter cannister from a 2009 Toyota Highlander?

K-D Tools 3253 End Cap Oil Filter Wrench This is a comment for this filter wrench I found on here is the link-----The following is not my comment, but hopefully it'll help you.

I bought this tool to remove the filter housing on my 2009 Toyota Highlander 4-cyl. The filter housing seems to be made out of some composite material and I did not want to grab it with the pliers-type oil filter wrench. K-D Tools 3253 end cap wrench fit the housing perfectly and made the removal and the installation of the filter housing easy.

I am installing a new engine air filter on my 2008 Toyota Avalon and am having difficulty getting the air filter compartment properly seated after putting the new air filter in place. I unlocked three...

Toyota doesn't publish instructions for that. Its checked and installed for free as a courtesy on an oil and filter replacement, at good repair shops. You took it apart, I'm sure you can figure it out. People that aren't auto mechanics, think everything's so simple.

Where is the oil filter located on a 2008 toyota avalon

Should be a paper insert filter. Should be a black plastic screw on cap that you must remove to expose the filter.

Go to DenLors and order the "ASTTOY640" It's 29 dollars, but it fits like a glove and works well. Threads ARE NOT left-handed. Just take off counter clockwise.

Can't get oil filter off 2008 Mountaineer

I think you need a bad boy like this:
7519ec0.jpg Most auto parts stores carry it. It's a 3 leg oil filter wrench. You can put a ratchet with an extension on it. They come in different sizes, so make sure you get the right one. They are about $20.

Fuel filter location

The oil filter is in an aluminum cylinder on the engine. It is not a "spin on" filter, it is now a cartridge-type filter. When you get one, make sure that you use the new o-rings provided in the filter box. The fuel filter is in the tank. Hope this helps, the graciousness of a FixYa rating would be appreciated. Thanks.
