THATS TRUE A THROTTLE BODY SERVICE RIGHT THERE AT THE THROTTLE PLATE WILL HELP ALOT.

IF THAT DOESNT DO IT THEN YOU NEED TO LOOK AT BOTTOM OF THE INTAKE SYSTEM FROM THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE CAR LOOK AT THE BACK OF THE ENGINE THERE IS A VERY LARGE VACCUM LINE AND IT GOES FROM THE BACK OF THE ENGINE AROUND TO THE FRONT SIDE UNDER THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING.AND RIGHT ON TOP OF THE PCV VALVE .BOTH OF THOSE RUBBER ELBOWS ARE ROTTON AND HEAT BURT AND HAVE CRACKS AND HOLES IN THEM.
YOU CAN ONLY GET THEM AT THE DEALER AND COST 30 DOLLARS.YOU CAN ONLY GET THE WHOLE HOSE WITH THE ELBOWS ON IT ALLREADY.YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE THE NEW ELBOW ON THE PCV SIDE TO INSTALL.ALSO YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE THE VALVE .IT JUST PULLS RIGHT OUT.PUT THE ELBOW ON THE PCV VALVE FIRST AND THEN PUT THE VALVE BACK IN THE YOU CAN FEED THE NEW HOSE UNDER THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING AND PUSH IT INTO THE NEW ELBOW. THEN CONNECT THE OTHER END INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE INTAKE AND YOUR DONE.
NEW CAR.
LET ME KNOW IF THIS HELPED

Escorts are well known to have motor mount problems which would cause your vibration, once you turn on your A/C you will notice a slight power loss in these type cars, I would suggest a good fuel injection cleaning as well as cleaning out what is called the throttle body, this is where all the air goes into your engine, fords have a tendency to build up carbon around the little plate you will see once the air fliter housing is removed cleaning this makes a big difference.

Good Luck and I hope this helps.

My ford escort 1800cc ghia hatchback 1997 yawes upwards to the left front under heavy acceleration, but doesnt torque steer, but is discerning. Me and a friend tested the engine by putting into gear and labouring engine against the handbrake and the engine tips noticably forward, more than it should by an inch or so, but we cannot find which mount has failed. Is there a mount that normally fails and gives this trouble as all look ok?

What makes Audi A6 2.4 1999 to shake before it reaches 80km/h

Unbalenced wheels..Bad tiresBefore 80 is too slow it will shake and wave and vibrate. After it can stabilise or get worse.Last:bad motor sensors:air intake, valve timing etc. If not ruff acceleration (rpm related vibration) then is the wheels related (unbalanced,bad/defect tires, low air pressure, loose nuts...)A windy weather also shakes u well :)))Cheers.

1997 lose of power when the a/c comes on

On small engines, any minor performance problem is amplified with the ac due to the horsepower the compressor pulls.
You probably have a spark plug miss or injector problem that is made worse with the ac on.
If you have not done a routine tune-up on the car I would do that first, along with replacing the fuel filter if equipped.
I assume the check engine light has not come on right ?

2003 toyota echo shakes at stop light Get's worse when you turn on the air conditioner. Doesn't do it in park or with brake off.

Idle sounds like it's too low. This is controlled by the computer. Is the check engine light on?
Make sure your tune up is up to date.

Rough idle only when in gear.

The Air Idle Control Valve (IAC) may be bad or dirty with carbon build up. Check for loose wire, remove and try to spraying it with throttle body cleaner to clean the carbon out and dry it with a hair dryer before installing.
The other thing to look for to is stuck EGR valve. same process as the (IAC) as to cleaning it too. If both are beyond cleaning then replace it.
You can go to Auto Zone and have the car scanned for any DTC codes which would indicate any problems with the (IAC) and EGR's performance.
The other thing to that would make the engine shake at low RPM's is bad spark plug and wire or low engine compression, but that would give you problems through out the whole engine's performance.
Good luck and hope this helps, Start with the (IAC) and EGR as to cleaning and scanning the engine.
