Question about 2006 Nissan Xterra
Engine runs really rough when trying to start, it sounds like one piston is running. I just had the car tuned up, new sparkplugs and I know battery is good. I believe it could be the Nissan Xterra EGR valve.
Check the EGR by disconnecting it to see if there is a change in the engine at idle

If your truck is a 2006 4.0L it doesn't have an egr valve. May be throttle body or cam or crank sensor. Could even be battery or alternator. Mass air flow sensor. Good luck!
