I changed front rotors and brake pads and now the abs light stays on. What is wrong?

You probably hit or pinched the switch or the wire of the left or right side.

Brakes on a 2005 rangers pads and rotors changed 10 months ago. brakes stop car but after the stop the brake pedal gets spongy and depresses further and makes a noise

You more than likely have a master cylinder going out. Also check the backs of your wheels (front and back) for fluid indicating a leaky cyclinder.

Front Passenger brakes rubbing

Dis brakes have residual pressure thar keeps the pads in constant contact with the roter. It is very light contact, so not to worry. If left is not in contact with rotor then chk it for loose wheel bearings.

Brake maintenance

It really depends on the type of driving you do most of. Highway miles very little wear, mostly city driving alot of wear.
Rule of thumb is usually front around 30,000 and rear around 50,000.
