If you have a Pep Boys auto parts store near you they sell hood liner material. you can also buy the spray on hood liner glue at any parts store it comes in an areosal can.You should be able to just remove the old material and replace it without taking a lot of the interior apart.

Good Luck, I hope this helps some.

Headliner on my sunroof has fallen down. It is a 2009 Lincoln MKX. How do I fix it?

You will need to remove the entire headliner, being careful not to crack the foam it is constructed. You will need to remove all the plastic door pillar covers, any clothes hangers, the dome light, etc.
You can purchase headliner fabric and adhesive at most fabric stores. The personnel there will assist you in getting the correct adhesive. You must remove all the old headliner fabric and backing pad material to get to the foam core for installation of the new headliner fabric. Lay out the fabric and cut it to size, allowing for some overlap in case you err slightly when positioning it. You will apply the adhesive to the foam core and to the back of the headliner fabric. It is a contact-type cement. Carefully position the fabric over the foam core and work from the center out to position it, being careful not to trap wrinkles or to stretch the fabric excessively. Trim off the excess and reinstall headliner.

How do I repair the headliner on the sunroof of my 2009 Lincoln MKX

3M makes an excellent spray glue for this. Clean off any loose foam first, spray both the cloth and the backing, let get tacky and stick together.

Rav4 sunroof leaks because of worn rubber seal and not because of clogged drain hole

most upholsterers should be able to help here If not go to a rubber dealer that sells sponge rubber etc as most have a good selection of auty trim rubbers that you can fit yourself. The best glue is loctite 406 Be careful as it is a super glue

The Fabric is beginning to come down due to the interior light just popping out at will and therefore pulling on the edging of the fabric. Also my sunroof is sticking when it's time to close the window...

for the sunroof get some silicone lubricant from any auto part store and spray it on a rag and wipe down the rubber part of the out side of the roof and it will recondition it and lube it... for the interior you can use super glue to tack it up there.

I HAVE A LEAKING SUNROOF WHERE CAN I GET RUBBER SEAL FOR A VOLVO 850 SUNROOF?

It will be good to use the one that is used OE in the car which can be sourced from Volvo service dealership.
However if you are thinking of a replacement type there are many that can be sourced from glass fabrication agents, car accessories retails shops.
I would reccommend tthe same type to be used for the fitting to the frame. use this right glue for fixing the gasket tightly.

My G6 trunk pools water in the spare tire compartment. I can't seem to find the leak. Any solutions?

It is coming from the break light in the center of the trunk. Pull it out dry it put a beed of clear auto sealer on gasket and your leak is gone.. This is a common problem on the G6.

97 tiburon sunroof seal is unglue- do i need to replace or can i do it myself..

Auto parts store, Weather strip adhesive. Make sure clean surface very well. Wipe down with enamel paint thinner (small amount), let dry. Apply adhesive sparingly, very messy if you use to much. Put seal in place and if you can, close your sunroof to hold in place while drying. Let set for a couple of hours and that should do it. P.S. the glue comes in yellow or black.

This can be really tricky to get at if you want it done properly and neatly. You'd have to remove all the trim on the inside of the car that covers the headliner and then slowly pull the headliner down which will be held on by Velcro fasteners and some glue. You have to be gentle as the headliner may rip if you're too rough. Once the headliner is removed, you can get to the motor and cables. You'll be able to disconnect the cable connecting the sunroof and manually close it, and then re-secure the cable temporarily.
