Your ECM has an error code locked in, when there is an error with the Fuel delivery system/ Exhaust system or any related sensors the ECM runs in a lag mode....Transmissions shift harder and slower (its an electric transmition) it may take longer to accellerate up to speed....My advice would be to go to AutoZone Napa or AAP (which ever is in your neck of the wood) and have them scan your ECM with their scan tool.... This will tell you where to start as far as troubleshooting. Also they can clear your check engine light.....this will make your truck run normal again (until the light trips) Hope this helps

Love my 2002 chevy trailblazer it is a LTZ with a vortec v6 engine , problem is it dies whenever you stop at a stoplight or have to press the brakes at all if ac is on please help almost wrecked yesterday...

Is there a check engine light? Have the codes scanned at an auto parts dealer... It may be the TPS sensor... an easy fix, and the scan is free in hopes that the parts dealer will sell you the part! Hope this helps!

I have a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ, Might be a trans problem....

Have it scanned and see if there isn't a trans code. If it is spinning out between gears that is called slippage. There is not much you can do since there are no adjustments. The only thing that it could be other than the trans itself is a problem with the TPS, Throttle Position Sensor, and if that is defective and you don't repair it right away you can do serious damage to the trans. (almost 30 years rebuilding trans and 4 of them directly for GM. I know the 4l60e extremely well) Do not drive this if it is slipping. Hope this helps.

2002 Chevy TrailBlazer Service Engine light is on. The car gives off a loud wind sound when pressing the accelerator. The engine runs smooth but less power.

This one is easy. The clutch fan is not disengaging. Mine does the same thing after it has idled a while but then will release (wind noise stops) after getting up to speed.
