Trouble with ac on a 2008 pet cruiser turbo. Please read carefully. Ac works fine first time it is used for the day after that not working. Checked the low pressure and charge and both are good.

Check out your thermostat - it is wired in series with low pressure switch and if is open clutch will not activate and the compressor will not run.

AC fan blower turned off for two days, now ok

Hello. Relays do not fail intermittently. You most likely have a lose connection from the fusebox TO the switch, or the switch itself is failing. I hope this helps. Good luck. Thank you for trusting FixYa to help get you going.

You need a new reastat switch. It is located behind the glove box.Glove box has to come out and it is bolted to a brace by the heater motor. It is not that expensive, but takes a little time to change. It took me about an hour.

sounds like your pressure switch is the temp outside gets hotter the more pressure is built up in your ac so when the pressure gets to high the pressure switch shuts down the system to prevent damage to it.Did u put any more r-134a in to the system if so then the pressure will be to high and the switch is doing as it is supposed to.Thanks for using fixya

If the low speed fan doesn't come on, but the system works when cooling air is blown through it, that says that whatever temperature sensor is used is working. It also seems that, if the fuse is OK, then the switch for the fan isn't working. There should be a switch module down there near the fan (you'd see wires from the fan to a harness, and it'll plug into a module). I'd be willing to try replacing that switch and see if it solves the problem.
