Check the power steering pump, if its good than it will be rack and pinion issue. the pump create a high pressure to help assist with steering, and the rack and pinion work like hydraulic cylinder which receive the pressure from the pump and the steering work like control valves. by turn left or right you controling the pressure to make the wheels turn either right or left. check and see if you have any leaks.

My power steering on my 2004 rodeo denver is heavy and when i go through puddles of water it gets heavier

first thing is to check power steering belt tension and condition, then oil level in bottle on left guard.
these are the main things then check the wire on the bottom of the power steering pump and make sure its not dammaged or the sensor it plugs into grey connector on rear lower section of power steering pump. If this wire or sensor is at fault the steering will go heavy like a truck. If it is dammaged the only way to replace the sensor is new power steering pump or 2nd hand pump.

I drive a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo V6 4X4. My high beam headlights work fine but my low beams went out. When the switch is turned on I only get parking lights. Is this a switch or a fuse? If it is a switch, can I...

It is either the relay or the switch. And yes, you can buy the switch only. Relay is located in power box under engine hood. Switch it out with another one like it in the panel and see if you ge the same result. If same result, replace switch.

Lost my alternator belt on my 1994 isuzu rodeo. It's situated behind 2 other belts. Where do I begin with loosening things to get the other belts out of the way so I can install the new alternator belt?...

14mm spanner
12mm socket
13mm socket
short socket extension bar
adjustable wrench 250mm
tyre lever or long thin bar for levering out alternator
there are 2, 14mm bolts in front bracket of power steering pump loosen a couple of turns only then loosen stud nut at rear of power steering pump then you can move pump in/out by turning 14mm long bolt you see thread for just left of power steering pump pulley
then the alternator is a 12 or some times 13mm bolt at top front section to loosen then lever in and out, must hold tension on lever with belt on while doing this up (2nd person to hold lever)
