The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.

You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam (separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal adjustment screws as well

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

For Low Beams: If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.

For High Beams (if separate from low beams): Aim the headlight directly at the line you marked on the wall.

This is kind of hard to explain but... on the back of the headlamp assy you will see a screwdriver size hole with a plastic gear visable. you actually have to use a phillips screwdriver to turn the gear. its easier with a screwgun and a long bit

How do I adjust the headlights on my 1990 Toyota Camry?

The aiming of headlights is strictly governed by the country or state you reside in and is covered by the road ordinance in force there. Take your vehicle to an authorised center that can adjust your headlights and supply you with proof that the work has been carried out according to the requisite regulations. You will save yourself a lot of bother and prevent possible legal problems.

Can you tell me how to adjust the headlights on my 2005 Camry SE? Id like to do this myself rather than have my boyfriend do it for me. ;)

You should have an adjuster located on the top of the headlights just looks like a plastic screw, best way is to park the car so the headlight beams are pointing at a wall to get the beams both even, but be carefull for the m.o.t they need to be at a certain level, m.o.t centers will usually do this for you for just a few £s
Hope this helps

Adjustment are located on the sides of the headlight assembly. One adjusts up and down (side) and one adjusts side to side (back) park about 20 feet away from a wall and adjust to center Your beams should be about 6"-8" lower than the headlights and about 6" inside the diameter of the lights
