No. you need to have the vehicle scanned with the proper scan tool by someone who knows how to use it. they will be able to tell you exactly with sensor or sensors you need to replace.

What specific code number did you get? If you do not have the diagnostic code number have the computer scanned again at any autoparts or similar parts store and let me know what the code number is and I can then help further.

Check engine light is on, on my 2002 honda accord ex v6

Could be as simple as a loose gas cap or cap seal or a bad o2 sensor. A falty cat. converter will also cause the check engine light to come on. Either way, you need to go either to a dealer or some auto parts stores will plug in the dioegnostic sensor and can tell what is wrong. your gas milage will suffer until you get this fixed. Your engine computer uses the inputs from your o2 sensers to adjust the fuel air mixture of the engine for optimum engine performance.

Service engine light is on diagnostics read by advance auto parts says my 02 sensor is bad

if it says bank one sensor one,it is the one before the catalytic converter. if it is bank one sensor 2 it is after the converter.
you need a 22mm sensor socket.they are easy to replace.

My check engine lite is on in my 2002 sequoia. I went to get and auto inspection today and the truck failed. the tech said that it needed a p0155 02 sensor heater circuit. Can I replace the sensor myself?...

This code indicates a problem with the O2 sensor on bank #2. The sensor is located in the exhaust pipe close to the engine. It could be the sensor or the wiring to it.

For a good description visit

After the problem is fixed you should clear the code from the vehicle computer. Some auto parts stores will do this for free. After the problem is fixed the code will clear itself eventually but it will take several start ups.

Yes you can do it yourself if you are reasonably handy.

How to replace a rear after oxygen sensor for 2002 toyota rave4. where can I fine a drowing pattern of it. thanks

you can go to and register for full free online repair manual,
Register, login, choose year, make, model, engine size, and view repair manual.

It has diagrams, testing, component locations, replacing, parts, product info, and much more.

The sensor is on the bottom half of exhaust manifold usually. Heat up exhaust or heat with torch, then use an 02 socket and breaker bar to pry loose.

Engine check light on and at idle the engine slowly starts drooping below 500-600 revs and shudders, just started today any ideas

O2 sensor(s) are fouled...try two things...One go to AutoZone and add "SeaFoam" to the tank per instructions and run it for at least an hour, if possible. If not, you'll have to have it scoped or the computer checked at a mechanics :o(
shouldn't be to bad ($70-100)+ parts.
Can't really do this at home.

2002 Toyota Celica with a strange shifting problem.

I had the same problem, replacing you thermostat should do the trick, i spent 8.99 on a new thermostat and 99 cents on a seal. For some reason engine temperature affects the transmission shifting. Good luck

Need to know where air-fuel sensor is on 2002 toyota rav 4

An air/fuel sensor is like an o2 sensor. It is in the exhaust system and looks just like an o2 sensor. You have 2 on the vehicle. We need the check engine light code to tell which one it is. Also recommend only Toyota's air/fuel sensor.
