    Hi there,
using the window on the bell housing, you can see that the clutch/pressure plate is doin what it should(I hope)

When i removed the gear box i removed one of the top links(nut) not sure if this has caused the problem!!!!!as the bolt fell down a bit. I did take off the top of the gearbox where the links are working, but all seems fine in there. Quite frustrating as i dont know where to look next...Thanks in advance.

1990 magna gearbox putnew cluch presureplate throwout bearing new master@slave cylender gear change good untill i start motor then no gears can start in gear drive@change soon as car stops sticks in gear...

Well, it sounds like the clutch cylinder / clutch linkage is not properly adjusted or the clutch cylinder is not fully bled, or it is malfunctioning -- it's not fully depressing the pressure plate when the pedal is pushed down, therefore, the clutch is still engaged.

HI, I RECENTLY BOUGHT A 1990 NISSAN 300ZX NON TURBO 5SPD. I GOT THE ENGINE RUNNING BUT WHEN I PUT IT IN GEAR THE CAR DOES NOT MOVE. THE TRANS FEELS LIKE IT IS IN GEAR AND DOES NOT MAKE ANY STRANGE NOISE....

being 1991, and a sport car, good idea to go ahead and replace slave cylinder since you have them and very easy to replace. If you able to push your car while is in any gear more likely the clutch pad pressure plate are worned and slipping. If you can push the car while is in gear even the engine is not running than it will be your clutch pad and your presure plate is shot that would mean you tranny has to come out. once you in the tranny you might as well replace with new clucth pad, pressure plate and throw out bearing. Also check your fly wheel make sure is not ate up. if it is then you will have to have the flyweel resurface by a machine shop. using the lift is the best way to work on the Z. most garage will charge 400-500 to do the work.

Cant shift into first gear or reverse

You are likely correct...sounds like the synchro is shot or the shift fork is somewhat worn. Is fluid full?
As long as the clutch does not slip and is engaging and disengaging somewhere in the center to just below center of travel, it's OK.

Cluch won't dis engage

How long have you had your car? How many miles on it?

Maybe the clutch plate gone, if the plate is not thick enough, you won't change the gear.
